Baby Arrived

Finally Miss Daisy was ready to get this show on the road. Wednesday June 7th around 10:00 p.m. Daisy gave birth to a baby boy. She had a hard time because the baby had a leg twisted around and behind her neck. Danny and Jeanne DeBruce, owners of the Ranch where Daisy foaled were there and pushed the baby back inside Daisy and pulled the leg foward. Out came a long legged colt very healthy and active. I will put a couple of pictures for you to see on this page. One will be of the colt about 15 minutes old and the other will be the next day when he is 12 hours old. Wendy, is actually the owner of the new colt. When we purchased Daisy, Wendy paid for half, the half that was in her tummy. So I have a driving mare (Daisy) and Wendy will be learning all about breaking tiny horses. Should be lots of fun. Happy Trails, Lynell
